“Dissection of a Woman,” uses multiple exposures, jagged masking, and frame by frame shooting juxtaposition inspired by Rose Lowder’s Bouquets. These techniques physicalize the philosophical division of women’s bodies in filmic space. The fractured images explore the feeling of being torn between discordant, ill-fitting expectations of identity.
