The Ruperts are the biggest band boy since... well, ever. That's why a group of middle school besties rent a hotel room to ~~go to their concert?~~ kidnap the worst member. Things even more off the rails when he winds up dead. Through flashbacks, emotional break throughs, some breaking and entering, and a lot of screaming, the girls have to figure out who Killed the Boy Band.

This campy musical romp explores the emotional insanity that is being a thirteen year old girl, with romance, fandom, and slapstick body horror galore, set within the most ironically unironic hipster hotel at the peak of boy band (and Buzzfeed) domination; 2014.

Kill the Boy Band the Musical is a fan-created original musical, based off the of the Y.A. novel Kill the Boy Band by Goldy Moldavsky.
